Play Spaces

In the Reggio Emilia approach, the educational environment is intentionally structured to include four distinct play areas, each serving a unique purpose in fostering children's development. Those play spaces are the art room, the library, the dramatic play room, and the group playroom. Together, these play areas create a rich and dynamic learning environment that supports holistic growth and exploration.

The Art Room provides a dedicated space for artistic expression, where children engage in painting, sculpting, and other creative endeavors, nurturing their imagination and fine motor skills.

The Dramatic Play area offers opportunities for imaginative play, often thematic, allowing children to explore different roles, scenarios, and social dynamics, enhancing their communication and empathy.

The Library serves as a tranquil retreat filled with books, puzzles, and literacy materials, encouraging a love for reading and language development.

The Playroom area functions as a entry gathering space for small manipulative play, including block building, small and large group play and collaborative interaction fostering a sense of belonging and connection among the children.
